Summertime Fun at the Clover Valley Beer Festival

August is here and that means it is time for the Clover Valley Beer Fest, presented by The Property Twins and brought to you by the same organizers that brought us the Whistler Village Beer Festival, which means that they know their craft beer! On Saturday, August 10th celebrate the love of beer at the Bill Reid Millennium Amphitheatre in Cloverdale.

New this year, check out the Limited Release Tap Launch on August 8 at Hawthorne Beer Market & Bistro. Hawthorne has the largest offering of craft beer in Surrey, with over 80 craft and import bottle selections and 16 rotating taps. And on Friday, August 9th, Sammy J’s Grill & Bar in Langley, will be kicking off the weekend with the 2nd Annual Official CVBF2019 Kick-Off Party featuring Bluegrass-country-rock trio, The Rollin’ Trainwreck.

As you head into the festival, grab some beer tokens which will allow you to sample from over 40 different BC breweries. With gluten-free ciders, the quirky drafts at Fuggles and Warlock, or a refreshing sip of Red Racer Ale from Surrey’s own Central City Brewers, there is something new to try for everyone.

To prepare for all these tasty beers, you’ll need some top quality food and a Pregame Brunch is just the ticket. Presented by Grimm’s Fine Foods, at Sammy J’s Grill & Bar, brunch will showcase a special themed menu and Caesar specials. And once at the festival, the 80+ brews will be complemented by delicious food truck offerings. If you find yourself feeling tired from walking around in the Summer heat, visit the Property Twins lounge where you can treat yourself to some gourmet grilled cheese from Sammy J’s Grill & Bar while you relax and recharge before getting back to the brews.

Clover Valley isn’t just about food and drinks, there will also be live music to keep the party going. Dance the day away to live music from Best Night Ever, Red Chair and Dakota Pearl.

Before summer is gone for good, get out and experience the Clover Valley Beer Festival! Remember to bring  ID with you, as this is a 19+ event. All this fun is also for a good cause, as partial proceeds go towards Twins Cancer Fundraising. Together they have raised over $3,000,000 to fight cancer. You can buy tickets online here. See you at the fest!

Oh … did we forget to mention that we’re giving away tickets? We’ve got 2 General Admission Tickets to give away to a lucky reader! (THE CONTEST IS NOW CLOSED)
