The Way to Dad’s Heart…

Do you know what you’re getting Dad this year? Father’s Day is just around the corner, after all. If you’re still stuck on ideas and feel brave enough to deviate from the customary whiskey and cologne, might we suggest… (drumroll please) some quality time? There are a number of things happening in Surrey over the Father’s Day weekend and they all include food. We might not know what the main man in your life wants for Father’s Day, but we’re pretty sure the way to his heart is through his stomach.

Fresh Restaurant & Lounge – Father’s Day Brunch

It doesn’t matter what Dad’s favourite food is (or yours, for that matter). This delectable brunch menu has it all! Start with a complimentary Mimosa and then choose from an array of menu items like roasted smoked turkey breast with peach chutney, cajun spiced salmon with brandied lime beurre-blanc over braised leeks in cream, and slow roasted prime rib of beef with red wine jus. The cost is $42.95 per person and $21.48 for children ages 4 – 12.  Children three and under eat for free.

Everything Wine – Father’s Day Weekend Wine

What’s better than impressing Dad with a nice bottle of wine? Giving him the chance to taste a variety of wines. Everything Wine will be pouring a selection of great value wines until this Tuesday. The event is free, so treat Dad to great tasting wines (and quality time with you) without breaking the bank! On actual Father’s Day, between 12:00pm and 2:00pm they’ll also be serving Port and Chocolate.

This brunch buffet will include a bevy of fantastic menu items… and feature a Callebaut chocolate fountain. Need we say more? Prices are as follows: Adults: $36 (includes taxes and gratuity), children ages 5-12: $19.50 (includes taxes and gratuity), no charge for children under four.

Father’s Day brunch with a side of breath-taking view? Yes please! The cost for the buffet is $31.95 for adults, $14.95 Children ages 4 – 11 and $24.95 for seniors. Do you really want to push the boat out? After you’ve eaten, why not treat Dad to a round of golf.
