Historic Stewart Farm Kitchen's Oatmeal Cookies

Fresh from the oven cookies are always a symbol of a warm, loving home. The Historic Stewart Farm has been a part of Surrey since 1894, and not only provides Surrey with a rich history, but some delicious treats as well. These cookies are a farm favorite for a reason.

Preheat oven to 350°F.
Cream butter with sugars until fluffy. Add eggs, vanilla, milk and mix well.
Stir together dry ingredients (except oats and raisins). Combine dry ingredients with creamed
mixture and beat until smooth. Stir in oats and raisins.
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake for 12 to 15 minutes. Yields 2½ dozen
Be sure to visit The Historic Stewart Farm if you’re itching to try out these cookies, or make a batch or two on your own.
